Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D.
Two or more years of customer service.
Knowledgeable about healthcare billing and medical claim forms, preferably Medi-Cal.
Experience in providing verbal instructions to customers.
Experience working with and skilled in Microsoft products including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power.
One year minimum experience.
Business and analytical problem-solving skill.
Communication skills and ability to work independently.
Ability to follow oral and written directions.
Ability to be flexible.
Office environment and must live within 35 miles of West Sacramento, CA.

Responsibilities

Recruit qualified providers to participate in the Small Provider Billing and Training program.
Instruct providers on how to successfully bill the Medi-Cal program.
Review and correct provider’s claim before adjudication.
Provide telephone support to enrolled providers.
