Job Purpose: Performs all duties related to small packages handling including material handling, movement forms and packaging procurement forms.
Requirements
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work in fast paced environment.
- At least, 6 months warehouse experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Two plus years warehouse experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- MRP experience (Oracle, Ultriva, etc.).
Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently pull parts, transfer inventory and package product into appropriate containers to ensure timely and quality customer deliveries.
- Efficiently and accurately communicates all shipping related inquiries that would otherwise impede order processing.
- Efficiently and accurately process shipment data in appropriate manifest system (Nex10) as necessary.
- Meets daily shipping deadlines and maintains a 24-hour turn-around service on customer orders.
- Performs visual check on all items prior to packaging ensuring that only quality product is shipped to customers.
- Maintains equipment for the highest degree of safety, inventory accuracy and productivity.
- Maintains a high awareness of personal safety at all times and assures working area is neat and orderly.
- Efficiently and accurately processes shipments by using shipping orders, bills of material and required carrier forms as necessary.
- Performs primary sub-assembly function, when appropriate, to ensure timely and complete shipments.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
