About The Position

SUMMARY Ship and receive goods. ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Receive, unpack, and store parts in appropriate storage areas so they are readily available when needed. Check quantity and condition of goods received against invoices and purchase orders. Check number and unit cost as well as total billing for charges against proper records. Specifies parts accurately. Takes inventory, maintain records of goods received and keeps perpetual inventory controls. Maintain clean and professional appearance of counter, work area, and stockroom. Interact with the Service Team to coordinate parts for vehicle repair and service. Process core returns, parts warranties and parts return as necessary. Answer telephone and greet customers in a friendly and professional manner in accordance with Incoming Telephone Call (ITC) standards. Communicate effectively with customers and vendors via phone, in-person or email. Assist customers by answering questions, introducing to an estimator or other assistance as requested in a quick, friendly and professional manner in accordance with Initial Customer Contact (ICC) process. Maintains profession appearance.

Requirements

  • No prior experience or training.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Valid Driver's License with CLEAN driving record.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
  • Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stretch, kneel, stoop, crawl, climb, balance, twist, turn, handle, reach, lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to talk or hear.
