Your Opportunity: The Herff Jones Operations team team is looking for a Small Parts Inventory Clerk to join our HJ Family. Here's How You Will Make an Impact: Production order fulfillment of small parts in support of inventory integrity and manufacturing needs. What You Will Do On A Daily Basis: At Herff Jones we may have been around for 100 years, but we still have the mentality of a scrappy startup. As we see it for right now, however, here are the challenges that we want you to tackle: Responsible for fulfilling production orders for small parts (panels, crests) to satisfy: Daily Casting, orders going to our outsourcing partner, and Oracle Parts Report including special orders and sample orders Use of Oracle System to manage small parts inventory and enter parts requests as needed Collaborate with Stones Inventory Control & Production colleagues to fulfill orders requiring stone encrusting and incising Collaborate with Production teams to manufacture small parts to maintain available inventory and fulfill live orders Responsible for Quality inspection of small parts and partnering with Manufacturing and/or Quality Team members to address & document rejects Collaborate with Purchasing Team to ensure that purchase orders to restock Accessories are placed in a timely mannerSupport pick & pack for Greek & Emblematic orders when needed, ensuring system transactions are completed to close out Production Orders and maintain accurate inventory Additional projects or duties as identified and required

Requirements

• High school diploma/ GED equivalent preferred
• Organizational skills
• Experience in Inventory Control, Quality and/or Production environment is a plus
• Understanding of metal quality and some stones knowledge is a plus
• Ability to read and write in English
• Must be able to work overtime and on Saturdays during busy seasons
• Ability to establish priorities and work independently
• Proficient computer skills: Oracle system experience and Excel skills a plus
• Strong communication skills
• Multi-tasking skills
• Ability to work well with people having different ethnic, social, or educational backgrounds; understand the cultural differences of different groups.
• Daily activity includes but is not limited to: Ability to walk around the office and through the factory briskly.
• Squatting, bending and lifting no more than 10 pounds.
• Near Vision
• Finger agility is required for operations of computer keyboard and adding machine

Responsibilities
