About The Position

Teacher for Small Group Instruction
Part-time | Belle Vernon, PA | K-6 Math
This is a part-time position offering 8 hours/week

We are currently seeking part-time, Title I, PA certified teacher to work one on one or with small groups of students in a resource room setting at a non public school. Teachers will work in one school and their schedule follows the school calendar.

Requirements

• Valid Pennsylvania teaching license, preferred
• Teaching experience
• Unwavering belief that all children can learn.
• Ability to navigate online platforms for record-keeping and communication.

Responsibilities

• Be their advocate, difference maker, and mentor.
• Support high school math students in a resource room setting
• Attends training sessions, passes content assessment, and delivers designated instructional models and strategies in reading, mathematics, and/or writing skills to eligible students through utilization of Catapult Learning’s Core Instructional Model.
• Create and update all Catapult Learning/district/state student/program records.
• Ensure supervision of students to assure their safety.
• Meet with Catapult Learning Supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents.
• Maintain inventory of teaching materials and supplies.
• Other duties may be assigned.
