About The Position

What You’ll Do Partner with Program Teams – Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external small‑business suppliers across multiple air‑systems programs. Data‑Driven Forecasting – Build, maintain, and analyze spend forecasts, EACs, and SB‑plan metrics; produce actionable insights for senior leadership. Reporting & Dashboard Management – Own the end‑to-end government reporting process (SB‑share, NAICS, CPAR), develop/refresh Tableau or Power BI dashboards, and ensure buyers have real-time visibility to place purchase orders on schedule. Process Improvement – Identify gaps, design short‑term “quick‑win” solutions and long-term automation (bots, tool‑set enhancements) that reduce manual effort and eliminate repeat challenges. Training & Enablement – Design and deliver targeted training sessions and documentation for the supply‑chain community on small-business policies, compliance, and best-practice procurement workflows. Stakeholder Engagement – Represent the team in internal briefings, external supplier briefings, and occasional speaking engagements (conferences, supplier forums). Travel & Presence – Support occasional site visits and supplier meetings (≤ 20 % travel) while enjoying a flexible hybrid work schedule. Basic Qualifications - 3 to 5 years of experience in aerospace, defense, or a related procurement environment. - Proven analytical skills – comfortable with large data sets, Excel/VBA, and visualization tools (such as Tableau). - Audit experience such as supporting DCMA, DCAA or other audit environments. - Prior experience leading teams and/or projects Desired skills - Direct experience with SBA set‑aside programs, FAR/DFARS, or other government contracting regulations. - Experience with SAP S/4 HANA, EDE, or similar ERP systems. - Prior experience delivering training or facilitating workshops for supply‑chain teams. - Existing security clearance (desired but not required). - Negotiations or contracts experience, any work in focus groups, networking and conferences is also a plus. - Strong written and verbal communication – able to explain complex rules in plain language. - Self‑starter with a growth mindset; can juggle multiple projects and deadlines. - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a high‑pace environment. Ability to work remotely Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $73,800 - $130,180. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
