The SM-3 IIA Finance organization is seeking a Finance Manager to join our team supporting production. The Manager will be responsible for ~5 direct reports. Responsibilities include Appropriations Request (AR) management, Baselining, Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) implementation and maintenance, variance analysis, data reviewing and reporting, quarterly Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) / monthly Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) development, project setup and NWA management. Providing support to Program Managers, IPT leads, and Control Account Managers (CAMs) in establishing and maintaining program budgets and forecasts is also required. Frequent interaction with various functions and multiple levels of the organization will be needed, so the successful candidate must possess strong presentation, communication, and professional skills. The role covers a wide set of requirements, a successful candidate will need to show flexibility in job abilities, collaboration and strong communication skills. Occasional travel to Raytheon sites will be necessary. Requirements

  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or related field or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ experience.
  • EVMS Experience (Earned Value Management)
  • Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Contracts, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, etc.)
  • U.S. Citizenship Status is Required as this position will require the ability to Access US Only Data Systems
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with computer skills, particularly in the use of MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Strong presentation, communication, and professional skills and the ability to work independently and with some supervision and oversight
  • Experience in meeting critical deadlines and develop and apply solutions and process improvements
  • Experience working independently and with higher levels of management
  • Masters’ Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related
  • Program start-up/baselining experience
  • Working knowledge of Raytheon financial and accounting policies and procedures
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast paced work environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of Financial Analysts
  • Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) implementation and maintenance, variance analysis, data reviewing and reporting
  • Develop and lead finance operation cadence of the programs
  • Lead & participate in the preparation of customer deliverables in support of contract requirements
  • Support the development, review and submission of program EACs
  • Participation and support in program business reviews and to ensure that funding levels and customer requests are being addressed.
