Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. The slot technician performs repairs to the Electronic Gaming Devices, including the Slot Monitoring System.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience related to nature of position
- Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret written and/or oral instructions
- Ability to communicate with internal and/or external guests
- Ability to perform basic mathematical operations such as: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and commissions, and apply to practical situations using fractions, percentages, measurements, proportions, and problem solving
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and speak English
- Must be able to lift and push more than 50 lbs. and carry up to 30 lbs
Responsibilities
- Performs slot machine installations, relocations, and conversions
- Performs routine maintenance and upgrades to electronic gaming devices
- Attends departmental and company meetings as required
