Requirements
- Related certification or degree from a technical school and a minimum six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance: clean, inspect, adjust, and test various machine parts.
- Perform floor maintenance: trouble shoot and repair machine malfunctions and system problems as they occur during gaming.
- Assist floorpersons or equivalent with malfunctions and answer floor calls.
- Perform machine conversions: install kits in machine cabinet and computer processor board, and verify paytable and reel stops.
- Assist customers with questions and complaints regarding slot machines.
- Provide answers and explanations, and rectify problems as appropriate.
- Work on special projects as assigned.
- Assist with every phase, from layout to installation.
- Assist in maintaining adequate stock of parts necessary for repairs.
- Order as needed and check in incoming parts.
- Perform shop maintenance: trouble shoot and repair electronic circuit boards, test and adjust loaner units, reprogram progressives and messages, etc.
- Meet department uniform, appearance and grooming requirements.
- Meet attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, department and company policies.
- Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris and litter.
- Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
- Any reasonable request made by your supervisor or any management personnel.
