About The Position

Conduct repairs and preventative maintenance on slot machines, slot accounting/player tracking equipment, progressive controllers and displays, and bill validators, with an effort to maintain “zero down time” on the floor. Install new slot machines, slot accounting/player tracking systems, progressive controllers and displays, and bill validators in a timely manner. Move all equipment as directed for the reconfiguration of the casino floor to optimize traffic flow and revenue. Maintain department resource library, and obtain updates on technical support materials, schematics and manufacturer tech bulletins. Work with Slot Services staff to resolve any issues. Attend all mandated training. Adhere to all department and company-wide policies and procedures. Follow all safety rules and regulations. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Two-year degree in Electronics or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Aristocrat, Light and Wonder, IGT, Incredible Tech, all other gaming machines, Progressive systems, and Oasis systems preferred.
  • PC, network, analog and digital communications experience helpful.
  • Experience training adults in a technical environment helpful.
  • Those with sufficient experience and/or qualifications may qualify for a higher position (i.e. Senior Slot Technician).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Able to perform duties without direct supervision or work lists.
  • Willing and able to learn and work.
  • Able to effectively handle difficult guest situations.
  • Able to obtain a Gaming License.
  • Professional and courteous demeanor.
  • Sensitivity to various cultures, including Native American cultures.
  • Regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Able and willing to work any changes in scheduled hours as required.
  • Serve as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel, and encourage others to do the same.
  • Mobility throughout the facility.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to bend and twist repeatedly.

Nice To Haves
