About The Position

Supervises all Slot Technicians, assists Slot Performance Manager with slot performance analysis, making recommendations for game moves, removals and conversions, and oversees repairs and tests on slots and related products and systems.

Requirements

  • To perform this job successfully an individual must be at least 21 years of age and be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Must have basic computer aptitude, demonstrate excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and customer service skills.
  • Must show the ability to work under team management approach.
  • Must be willing to work any shift and weekends.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Prerequisite ; Three year related experience and/or training as a Slot technician with satisfactory or better performance evaluations; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • High security gaming license issued from the Rolling Hills Casino Gaming Commission.

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to speak a second language a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates scheduling of Slot Technicians.
  • Evaluates the work performance of all Slot Technicians.
  • Evaluates slot machine performance and recommends actions to improve performance
  • Coordinates and assists technicians in the repair and maintenance of Slot and various other casino equipment.
  • Coordinates and supervises special projects and machine moves as assigned.
  • Maintains proper documentation on department repair logs, machine entry cards, etc.
  • Troubleshoots and repairs Slots and related equipment.
  • Oversees safe and effective operation of shop equipment including hand tools, soldering tools, power tools, and electronic test equipment
  • Understand and use the department parts ordering, receiving and inventory system.
  • Help maintain security of equipment, records and funds.
  • Coordinate training for Slots Technicians as may become necessary.
  • Provide-exceptional customer service to customers and employees when performing job duties and conduct oneself in a professional and business like manner to reflect Rolling Hills Casinos high standards of excellence.
  • Follow policies and procedures as they relate to Slots department operations.
  • Provide input on how policies and procedures may be streamlined to enhance performance and ways to improve safety and security.
  • Coaches other techs in an effort to correct substandard performance.
  • Use proper skills (respect, patience, attentiveness, etc.) when dealing with guests and employees.
  • Share information with other departments to facilitate their handling of customer situations.
  • Assist in resolving customer complaints/disputes.
  • Must learn, comprehend and comply with all company policies and procedures, MICS, Gaming Regulations and Title 31 requirements.
  • Working hours are determined by 24-hour schedule and subject to change.
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed.
