About The Position

This role blends advanced electronics knowledge with people leadership, offering the opportunity to make real-time decisions, mentor technicians, and keep the casino floor running at full power every shift. The job purpose is to supervise Slot Technicians during a shift.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • 2 years electronic systems maintenance and repair experience
  • 2 years slot related experience and/or training
  • Ability to troubleshoot repairs and maintain to a modular level
  • Working knowledge of AC/DC electronics
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks and assignments
  • Ability to communicate effectively in the English language
  • Ability to provide guidance to staff
  • Ability to compose written documents in the English language
  • Ability to learn tasks applicable to level of position
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and composure
  • Ability to follow verbal directives and written directions
  • Ability to accept constructive criticism
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs
  • Ability to work in a smoking environment
  • Organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Maintains efficient operation of slot machines by scheduling and assigning duties to staff based on business need
  • Submitting time and attendance documentation to appropriate personnel
  • Instructing staff on correct departmental policies and procedures
  • Ensuring proper installation, repair and maintenance of electrical and electronic gaming equipment
  • Providing guidance and direction to staff as needed
  • Provides guidance to technical personnel by providing technical assistance and interpretation of diagnostic screens
  • Coaching and evaluating staff performance
  • Recommending training or corrective action as needed
  • Acting as an advisor to resolve team member conflicts
  • Assists the Slot Technician Manager by supervising new slot machine installations
  • Coordinating projects
  • Ensuring safety policies and procedures are followed
