Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• 2 years electronic systems maintenance and repair experience
• 2 years slot related experience and/or training
• Ability to troubleshoot repairs and maintain to a modular level
• Working knowledge of AC/DC electronics
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
• Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks and assignments
• Ability to communicate effectively in the English language
• Ability to provide guidance to staff
• Ability to compose written documents in the English language
• Ability to learn tasks applicable to level of position
• Ability to maintain professionalism and composure
• Ability to follow verbal directives and written directions
• Ability to accept constructive criticism
• Ability to lift 75 lbs
• Ability to work in a smoking environment

Responsibilities

• Maintains efficient operation of slot machines by scheduling and assigning duties to staff based on business need, submitting time and attendance documentation to appropriate personnel, instructing staff on correct departmental policies and procedures, ensuring proper installation, repair and maintenance of electrical and electronic gaming equipment, and providing guidance and direction to staff as needed.
• Provides guidance to technical personnel by providing technical assistance and interpretation of diagnostic screens, coaching and evaluating staff performance, recommending training or corrective action as needed, and acting as an advisor to resolve team member conflicts.
• Assists the Slot Technician Manager by supervising new slot machine installations, coordinating projects, and ensuring safety policies and procedures are followed.
