The Role: A Slot Shift Supervisor is responsible for performing all duties according to the company policies, procedures, and Internal Controls. Responsible for observing slot play, processing jackpots, correction minor machine malfunctions and patron relations. Responsible for providing a safe environment for guests and team member. In addition to providing outstanding guest service to internal and external guests.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent, preferred.
  • 2 years of Slot attendant experience, required.
  • Must possess excellent teamwork, interpersonal, guest service, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have a professional demeanor and presence with the ability to interact with guests and team members in the Company.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a state gaming license.
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends and Holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in departmental and company meetings.
  • Build guest relations throughout every shift by talking with guests, making them feel welcome and comfortable, and inviting them back.
  • Must efficiently correct malfunctions of the gaming devices and timely report the malfunctions.
  • Assumes overall responsibility of the operations for the slot department during shift.
  • Ability to understand and use casino tracking programs.
  • Use computers to complete reports and look up player information.
  • Ensure all slot reports are legible and submitted timely.
  • Ensure team members on shift are following all department rules, regulations and policies.
  • Effectively and timely report all areas of opportunity for team member coaching and training.
  • Accurately calculate and monitor all guest jackpots.
  • Observe all slot play and report findings in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Answer questions about game rules and casino policies.
  • Accurately Complete all reporting in compliance to internal controls and department policies & procedures.
  • Have knowledge of guest alcohol limitations and company policy and procedure regarding limitations.
  • Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Handle routine guest complaints and incidents and exhibit the appropriate discretion to identify situations requiring the attention of supervisory personnel - seek to resolve all situations in a manner that maintains positive guest relationships.
  • Immediately handle and report any safety hazards, problems, or maintenance issues in the appropriate manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
