About The Position

Slot Shift Supervisor is responsible for the slot department operations on an assigned shift. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS RESPONSIBILITIES: Has the ability to perform all functions of supervised positions. Supervises the slot operation during assigned shift. Provides complimentary services to guests. Schedules personnel for slot operation on assigned shift. Approves jackpot payouts and fills. Greets Guests and sees that deserving players are properly hosted. Handles Guest complaints. Responsible for keys. Maintains knowledge of all events in the property as a whole. Attends and/or facilitates all mandatory meetings and training. Maintains confidentiality at all times. Is sensitive to Native American Culture. Operates within the parameters of the Leech Lake Gaming Human Resource Policy, Departmental Policy Manual and all Tribal Internal Controls (TICs), and all other applicable regulations. Secures the assets of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Previous supervisory and slot experience.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, public relations and communications skills.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts efficiently and professionally.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, rotating shifts, weekends and holidays.
  • Strong math skills
  • Must meet State Compact licensing requirements, pass criminal background check, and submit to random drug testing.
  • Physically capable of remaining on feet for long periods of time.
  • Subject to internal working conditions, including a smoking environment.
  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
  • One year related experience.
  • Must have computer skills
  • Must meet Tribal/State compact licensing requirements, pass criminal background check and submit to drug testing.
