Slot Performance Supervisor
About The Position
Salary for this position typically starts around $50k and you will lead the evening and night team. During initial training you may work other shifts to learn about the operation fully. Responsible for supervising Slot Technicians who will be performing advanced slot machine repairs and technical work, including troubleshooting, modifications, and preventative maintenance. Evaluates machines that are not performing to standard and identifies the causes of malfunctions. Inspects all gaming-related equipment for signs of mechanical issues or potential cheating. Works collaboratively with other slot technicians on the shift to ensure optimal performance, efficiency, and consistency across all machines. This position is responsible for supervising the Slot Technicians, and managing the Slot Performance Department. Install, test and maintains electronic gaming equipment and components, systems, and sub-systems required for continuous and efficient business operations. Makes required adjustments, repairs and/or replaces such equipment when needed. Performs duties of Slot Attendant/Host when needed (as authorized) to ensure guest satisfaction and maximum performance of all slot machines on the casino floor. Directly supervises all Slot Technicians and the overall slot performance function during assigned shifts. Oversees the training of Slot Technicians. Oversees the repair modifications and preventative maintenance on slot machines which are beyond the mechanical or technical scope of a Slot Attendant. Plans and administrates work schedules and assignments for Slot Technicians. Assists in investigating all cheating attempts, percentage malfunctions, and sub-standard equipment within the Slot Department. Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must be able to obtain Missouri Gaming License
- Must pass background check
- Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift, including holidays and weekends
- Must present a well-groomed appearance
- Must have excellent customer service/communication skills
- Knowledgeable in data entry, read and interpret output from a computer
- Must have knowledge of the skills necessary for each Slot Technician position, including expertise in the repair of all slot machines and related equipment
- Must be able to work independently along with a team mentality
- Must be able to bend, twist, turn, push and pull, as well as lift and carry above/below the shoulders a minimum of 25 lbs or more
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time or entire shift
- Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations
- Is able to tolerate areas containing second-hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Must be able to maneuver around office areas, effectively work in high traffic areas and responds to visual and aural cues
- Mathematical abilities including addition and subtraction/accurate record keeping strongly required
- Must have the dexterity to grip and work necessary items (chips, 10 key adding machine, money bags, computers, money, etc.)
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of three years previous experience as a Slot Technician is preferred
