About The Position

Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership Supervise and monitor slot floor activity to ensure efficient and effective operations. Coordinate break schedules, staffing coverage, and task assignments to maintain service levels. Resolve issues related to slot machines, payouts, malfunctions, and customer concerns with professionalism and urgency. Ensure all paperwork, forms, and electronic logs are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Guest Service Excellence Deliver and model outstanding guest service in alignment with property core values. Respond promptly to guest questions, complaints, and service needs. Build rapport with players and assist in identifying and supporting VIP/loyalty guests. Team Support & Development Provide direction, coaching, and feedback to Slot Attendants during the shift. Assist in training new hires on policies, procedures, proper guest engagement, and technical basics of slot operations. Promote a positive, team-focused work environment that reflects company culture. Compliance & Controls Ensure all operations comply with gaming regulations, company policies, department SOPs, and internal controls. Oversee adherence to jackpot, handpay, and documentation procedures. Monitor open/close machine processes, key control, cash handling standards, and Title 31 practices. Technical & Floor Management Respond to slot machine service calls and coordinate with technicians as needed. Monitor machine performance issues and communicate trends to management. Assist with machine conversions, moves, and special projects as directed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1–3 years of slot operations experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role (or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of slot machine functionality, casino systems, and jackpot/handpay procedures.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
  • Lift, carry, or move objects up to 30–50 lbs as needed.
  • Work in a noisy, smoke-filled, or fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency with casino management systems preferred (e.g., CMS, SDS, Acrelec, Aristocrat Oasis, or property-specific systems).
