Slot Guest Service Ambassador - (Part Time) - Palace
About The Position
The Slot Guest Service Ambassador serves Guests in an efficient and courteous manner, greeting them with a smile. This role requires a very outgoing and positive demeanor and a passion for Guest Service. The position involves hosting a designated slot section, providing Guest Service, maintaining the cleanliness of the section, and ensuring all machines are operational and ready for play. The Team Member is expected to cultivate new Guest relationships and maintain existing ones by providing friendly and efficient service. Services provided to Guests include offering change, paying jackpots, redeeming EZ-Pay tickets, and performing minor machine repairs. The Ambassador will use a Guest Locator to attend to Guest needs, be knowledgeable of company and property promotions, and have knowledge of the gaming floor, including the location of slot machines, restaurants, amenities, and restrooms. The role also involves promoting the Boarding Pass Rewards program and actively recruiting new members, while complying with all Slot Department policies.
Requirements
- Must have a very outgoing and positive demeanor
- Must be passionate about Guest Service
- Minimum age requirement of 21 years
- Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members, and management
- Capable of performing count, check-in/check-out, and maintaining accountability of a slot machine bank and/or a slot bag cash advance
- Must be able to comply with signature controls, including jackpot tickets, check-in/check-out sheet verification, transfer or buy sheet verification, Title 31 paperwork, paid in/out slip, key control log, handheld scanner log, radio check-out log, and daily in sheet
- Must be able to understand Title 31 requirements, including but not limited to all unacceptable monetary transactions, logging requirements, and the New Wave system
- Must have knowledge of the gaming floor, location of slot machines, restaurants, amenities, and restrooms
- Must be able to stand and walk for the entire shift
