Responsible for maintenance, repairs and general operating condition of slot machines, video machines, and electronic boards. Requirements

  • Knowledge of electronics.
  • Ability to read schematics.
  • Ability to trouble shoot to the component level on video monitors and PC Boards using electronic equipment.
  • Ability to make judgments and decisions regarding customer and employee complaints.
  • Ability to deal effectively with the general public and casino staff.
  • Ability to develop and implement training needs for employees and Tribal members.
  • Knowledge of Casino operations, Tribal, federal and state reporting requirements.
  • Knowledge of all slot and gaming operations.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under extreme pressure and levels of stress.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
  • Associate degree in Electronics
  • Four (4) years of slot tech experience..
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required STGC Gaming License.
  • Will require a pre-employment and random drug screening.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted New Mexico Driver’s License.

  • Note: Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling four (4) years may substitute for the required education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoots and repairs all electronic equipment, including slot machines, bill validators, signs, ticket printers and other gaming-related devices.
  • Troubleshoots and repairs all circuitry and electrical components.
  • Assists with installations, conversions and machine moves.
  • Assists with the training development of the slot employees.
  • Responsible for following internal control procedures as they apply to department.
  • Adheres to Title 31 procedures.
  • Maintains accurate inventory of slot machines and spare parts.
  • Performs additional duties and responsibilities as necessary or assigned.
  • Punctual and regular attendance is an essential responsibility for all team members and are expected to report to work based upon the assigned schedule each day in accordance with the Attendance Policy for Pueblo Sandia.
