About The Position

Slot Attendants are responsible for providing guest service on the gaming floor, paying out jackpots timely and efficiently, required to respond promptly and friendly to any service requests, concerns, or questions, and expected to handle all cash transactions with proficiency and integrity.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Strong guest service and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise, smoke, and temperature levels
  • Able to Multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to operate digital handheld devices
  • Guest service experience is required
  • Must be a fun, energetic and engaging Team Member and can represent the Spokane Tribe Casino positively while interacting with Guests.
  • Good oral and written communication skills are required.
  • Must be fluent and literate in English
  • Gaming License Required? Ability to secure and maintain STATE OR TRIBAL Gaming License.

Nice To Haves

  • Casino experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Practices, supports, and maintains the Mission, Vision and Values of Casino.
  • Must be willing and able to work with all regulatory agencies, i.e., Gaming Commission, State, and Federal.
  • Must learn and ensure policies and procedures are being followed per the departments’ Internal Controls.
  • Must adhere to the Spokane Tribe Casino Handbook.
  • Must provide best possible guest experience by providing exceptional guest service.
  • Repairing and maintaining video player terminals.
  • The slot attendant must be proactive and identify problems and solutions concerning issues on the slot floor.
  • Constantly walk the gaming area to assist customer needs, pushing in chairs to provide clear pathways for customers.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the gaming area by helping housekeeping.
  • Pay jackpots.
  • Ensure video player terminal is filled with tickets in a timely manner, to keep machines in constant operation.
  • Ensures compliance with Title 31 requirements and processes.
  • Assist in maintaining gaming floor security by notifying MOD and Slot Assistant Manager of suspicious activity.
  • Observe gamblers for signs of cheats, scams, or irregularities in play. Notify the proper personnel.
  • Promote Casino promotions with all customers, and prompt new customers to sign onto our players club.
  • Utilize handheld devices to assist with efficient and fast service.
  • Perform other tasks assigned.
