Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret production sheets
- Physical ability to stand for long hours and lift heavy materials
- Basic understanding of machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- A team player with good communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to read measuring tape
Responsibilities
- Set up spacers for overarm.
- Check slit strands - free of burrs, scratches, coil set, and within camber specifications.
- Math aptitude/setup calculations testing
- Learn to use the ERP system.
- Cut Cores
- Stage and load materials
- General housekeeping
- Assist supervisor/manager and other operators as needed.
- Maintain a safe and orderly work environment by removing scrap and other waste, checking machines, and identifying potential hazards.
- Train new operators, if necessary
- Other duties as assigned
