About The Position

The Slice House Counter Attendant is responsible for providing fast, friendly, and accurate service to guests at Graton Resort and Casino's Marketplace. This role includes taking orders, handling payments, preparing and serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the counter and guest facing areas, and ensuring compliance with all food safety and sanitation standards. The attendant must be able to work efficiently in a high-volume environment while delivering excellent guest service and supporting the overall operations of the Marketplace

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
  • One (1) year of experience in fast food or high-volume restaurants.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must possess or obtain a Responsible Beverage Service State Certification.
  • Must possess or obtain a California Food Handler Certification.
  • Ability to handle a flexible work schedule, working weekends, holidays, and all shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and promoting our values.
  • Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Greet guests promptly and courteously; assist with menu selections and answer questions about food items.
  • Take guest orders accurately and input them into the POS system.
  • Handle cash, credit, and other payment transactions following established cash-handling procedures.
  • Prepare, assemble, and serve food and beverage items according to company standards and recipes.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked counter, service area, and dining area.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations, including proper food handling and temperature control.
  • Restock supplies such as napkins, condiments, and utensils throughout the shift.
  • Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties as directed by management.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management regarding food preparation and guest needs.
  • Handle guest concerns professionally and promptly, ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Adhere to all company, department, and safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude throughout the shift.
