About The Position

Position Summary: Supervises the day-to-day operations of the sleep disorders center. Under the direct supervision of the medical director, performs preliminary evaluation of the patients seen in the sleep disorders center and prepares preliminary reports for polysomnographic recordings for review by the medical director. Responsible for financial monitoring, hiring, firing and disciplinary actions of employees in the sleep disorders center. Requirements

  • Current Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT).Current BLS Certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Associate's Degree required.
  • Basic arrhythmia recognition course
  • 1-2 years supervisory experience preferred.
  • Patient assessment.
  • General supervisory skills.
  • Budgeting and financial evaluation.
  • Skills in medical and surgical therapies for respiratory, cardiac, neurology, and urology.
  • Knowledge of patient care for individuals with sleep, respiratory, and neurological disorders.
  • Knowledge of oxygen delivery mechanisms.
  • Ability to use CPAP and Bi-Level therapies.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English.

  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
