Sleep Lab Supervisor
About The Position
The Sleep Lab Supervisor supports leadership with the management of staff and the day-to-day operations. The individual is accountable to deliver established goals, utilize good judgment to assess and escalate situations when warranted and utilize knowledge and skills in the areas of expertise while maintaining expected quality standards within the services. The Sleep Lab Supervisor must act as leader by building constructive relationships, supporting leadership in developing, setting and executing service goals and the strategic plan in accordance with Marshfield Clinic Health System’s (MCHS) mission statement.
Requirements
- None
- Five years’ experience as a polysomnographic technologist and three years’ of demonstrated leadership experience.
- Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (BRPT) as a registered polysomnographic technologist (RPSGT)
- Employee may not at any time have been or be excluded from participation in any federally funded program, including Medicare and Medicaid.
- Employee must immediately notify his/her manager or the Health System’s Compliance Officer if he/she is threatened with exclusion or becomes excluded from any federally funded program
Nice To Haves
- Graduate of a CAAHEP (Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs) accredited polysomnographic technology program; and Associate degree in supervision, management or related field.
- Seven years’ experience as a polysomnographic technologist and five years’ experience in a supervisory role in a sleep lab.
