About The Position

As a SLED Account Specialist, you’ll be the trusted advisor and go-to resource for our public sector clients, ensuring they achieve maximum value from their partnership with Softchoice and WWT. In this role, you’ll deliver exceptional customer experiences while building strong, lasting relationships with key stakeholders such as IT Managers and Procurement leaders. You’ll own the end-to-end client journey—from onboarding and support to retention and growth—acting as the primary point of contact for your assigned accounts. Your mission is to drive customer success through proactive engagement, strategic problem-solving, and world-class service, ensuring every interaction strengthens loyalty and satisfaction. As part of our high-impact inbound team, you’ll focus on supporting organizations with fewer than 500 employees, helping them navigate technology challenges and unlock new opportunities. Requirements

  • Up to 1-year of previous sales experience in retail or B2C background
  • College or University degree
  • Minimum 9 months existing Softchoice sales or operations experience

Responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming client calls and purchase requests from SLED customers with fewer than 500 employees.
  • Follow up and close transactional renewals Create and manage opportunities in Salesforce.
  • Follow up on quoted products and services
  • Collaborate with vendors to secure best pricing and product availability.
  • Execute on selling under Public Sector procurement contracts Setting clients up on the Softchoice.com portal.
  • Drive web adoption on every call assisting clients to place orders on the Softchoice.com portal through “Web-Walk through DEMO” and the Procurement POV.
  • Attend trainings and learn/keep up with new products and technologies in order properly support client requests.
  • Drive customer experience (CX) scores up though “legendary customer service”.
