About The Position

The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Slate CRM Administrator on the Dahlonega campus. The Slate CRM Administrator is responsible for managing and optimizing the university's student CRM platform to support recruitment, admissions, and student engagement activities. The SRM Administrator will be a Slate power user that focuses on configuring and maintaining Slate's functionality, supporting end users, implementing new features, and ensuring data accuracy and compliance with university data governance standards. The successful candidate will serve as the bridge between campus stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into effective Slate solutions. They will also provide user training, create documentation, and generate insights through Slate's reporting and dashboard tools. Although part of the Enterprise Information Systems Team, the Slate CRM Administrator will also hold a dotted reporting line to the Vice President for Strategic Enrollment Management to ensure alignment, coordination, and prioritization with the University's SLATE Administration team.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with data analysis, reporting, and process improvement.
  • Basic familiarity with HTML, CSS, or SQL. (SQL is preferred.)
  • Basic understanding of data integration concepts.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to define data needs.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across departments.
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience working with a CRM system (Slate CRM preferred; other CRM experience will be considered).
  • Demonstrated experience with system configuration, workflow management, and user support.
  • Experience providing end-user training or documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Slate CRM Management: Maintain and configure the Slate CRM system, ensuring optimal performance and user experience. Manage settings, forms, workflows, and communications to ensure system effectiveness and a high-quality user experience. Collaborate with users to customize and configure Slate according to the specific needs of different campus offices. Provide basic technical support to Slate users across the university. Have a thorough and clear understanding of processes, user requirements, and data flows in Slate.
  • Feature Implementation & Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and implement new Slate features and enhancements. Partner with campus stakeholders to identify process improvements, optimize existing functionality, and ensure consistent use of Slate across units.
  • Data Analysis, Reporting, and System Upgrades: Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and queries using Slate's built-in tools as well as outside products. Ensure data accuracy and integrity across Slate and related student systems. Collaborate with data teams to identify required data feeds and ensure they meet business needs.
  • Technical Support: Act as a point of contact for technical issues related to Slate and other integrated systems. Provide timely and effective support to end-users, escalating issues as needed. Collaborate with other members of the IT team to address broader technical challenges and opportunities.
  • Documentation and Training: Create and maintain technical documentation for Slate configurations, integrations, and troubleshooting procedures. Participate in conducting training sessions for end-users on Slate and related systems.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure all Slate activities align with institutional data governance, privacy, and data protection standards. Promote proper data handling and usage practices among Slate users.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with IT, admissions, and other departments to ensure system alignment with institutional goals and initiatives. Communicate system changes and updates effectively to end users.
