About The Position

Looking for highly motivated Sales Associates, Licensed Estheticians or Cosmetologists for a retail setting with a strong emphasis on customer service. Known as a nationally recognized leader in advanced medical and cosmetic skincare founded by board-certified dermatologist Dr. Amy Forman Taub, MD, FAAD. skinfo®, an upscale skincare boutique affiliated with Advanced Dermatology with locations in Glencoe and Lincolnshire, Illinois. skinfo ®, A Forefront Skincare Boutique is a unique retail concept featuring professional skincare products not available in traditional retail outlets. The boutique features a wide variety of the newest cosmeceutical products personally selected by Dr. Amy Forman Taub, MD, FAAD treating acne, aging skin, rosacea, skin discolorations, dry skin, and more. Full Time: 38 hours per week/variable hours/schedule Monday: 8:30-6:30 Tuesday: 8:30-5:30 Wednesday: 8:30-5:00 Thursday: 8:30-6:00 Friday: 8:00-4:00

Requirements

Esthetician or Cosmetologist license is preferred but not required.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a retail or sales environment.
Prior experience in a medical office is a plus, but not necessary.
Strong multitasking and organizational skills in a fast-paced setting.
Professional, positive, and upbeat attitude.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in computer use and related systems.
Highly motivated with a goal-oriented mindset to meet sales targets.
Flexible schedule is essential.
Must be willing to work at both Lincolnshire and Glencoe locations as needed.

Responsibilities

Welcome and assist patients with any questions or concerns regarding their skincare.
Educate and guide patients on skincare ingredients and their new skincare regimen.
Recommend additional products that complement the patient’s current regimen, enhancing their in-office treatment results.
Achieve monthly sales targets.
Cultivate strong patient relationships, offering follow-ups with new products or samples.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Collaborating with providers and staff at Advanced Dermatology to stay informed about current product knowledge.
If licensed, providing services available at skinfo ®, including mineral makeup applications, brow lamination and facial waxing/tinting while building patient clientele and retention.
Complete checkout process when patients finalize their purchases.
Ensure the store and retail shelves are tidy and well-organized.
Perform opening and closing procedures as required.
