About The Position

The Omni Ft. Lauderdale Hotel is a 29-story hotel, located at 1950 Eisenhower Blvd, and connected directly to the Broward County Convention. The property offers 801 guest rooms and suites, multiple restaurants, a vibrant rooftop bar, a sprawling pool, spa, and fitness center. The hotel has over 120,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, including a grand ballroom, junior ballroom, 25 breakout rooms and pre-function meeting space with waterfront views. JOB PURPOSE: The Lead Provider of MOKARA Spa at Omni Hotels is a dual licensed therapist responsible for overseeing the training and performance of spa providers, ensuring adherence to treatment protocols and guest service standards. This role involves maintaining product inventory, conducting training sessions, and leading performance reviews to enhance the quality of spa services offered at MOKARA Spa - OMNI Fort Lauderdale.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Dual Therapist with a strong understanding of spa protocols and guest service.
  • Ability to train and mentor new staff effectively.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Minimum 5 years experience performing Massage/Esthetician services.
  • Current active State of FL License requirement
  • Must maintain a city business tax permit with the city of Fort Lauderdale upon hire.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
  • Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or lead role within a spa environment.
  • Knowledge of various massage techniques and spa treatments.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all Massage/Esthetician/Nail service providers are trained on MOKARA Spa treatment protocols, draping techniques, and guest service procedures.
  • Communicate effectively and hold all spa providers accountable for The Trilogy.
  • Assist Spa Director/Manager/Supervisor in maintaining a par level of treatment products and assist with reorders as needed.
  • Ensure all treatment rooms are adequately stocked, and products are used efficiently.
  • Provide training, coaching, and counseling as needed for spa service complaints.
  • Conduct regular walk-throughs of the spa treatment areas to ensure equipment is working and rooms are maintained to standard.
  • Assist with the interview process of new Massage Therapists/Estheticians/Nail Techs and provide onboarding training.
  • Assist with leading inspiring morning Stand-up meetings to motivate spa associates.
  • Train all new treatment providers to standard and complete required checklists.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews for treatment providers.
  • Assist with monitoring Provider schedules daily. Make changes contingent on business demands with Spa Director approval.
  • Ensure all guest challenges have been resolved in a timely manner and the Director is made aware of the situation.
  • Work with the Director to communicate Spa goals, policies, and procedures to the team.
  • Able to perform projects delegated by Spa Director.
  • Motivate the Spa Concierge, Attendants and Providers to up-sell, cross-sell, and pre-sell services/products by .
  • Ability to diligently perform Inventory at the end of each month.
