About The Position
Conducts machine setup, troubleshooting, major repairs, and preventive maintenance service.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
- Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs.
- Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines.
- Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Performs major equipment repairs and installation, construction as required.
- Performs sanitation duties as needed.
- Operates forklift and heavy machinery.
- Completes all related paperwork.
- Recommend and implement process improvements as approved.
- Consults with Supervisor as required.
- Work within a team environment.
