About The Position

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is seeking a Skilled Electrician to join their Fibrebond team in Minden, LA. This role involves reading blueprints to accurately install all required electrical components, bending and installing complex conduit configurations, pulling and terminating wire and large power cable, and troubleshooting electrical problems. The work is performed under moderate supervision, focusing on semi-complex tasks and assisting teammates in mid-level work for development and training. The Skilled Electrician will safely and effectively use hand and power tools. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3 years electrical experience.
• Experience bending conduit.
• Experience reading blueprints and using hand and power tools.
• Basic shop math skills and the ability to read and use a tape measure.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints.
• Must possess a strong, verifiable track record of attendance and punctuality.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of trade secrets.

Nice To Haves

• Electrical skills certification.
• Journeyman-like experience.
• NEC knowledge and experience.
• Experience leading crews.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints to accurately install all required electrical components.
• Install standard and complex conduit and electrical components.
• Bend and install complex conduit configurations.
• Pull wire and/or cable for smaller gauge electrical circuits, low voltage alarms and signals, high-power large-gauge circuits through conduit and wireway.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Lead crews.
• Anchor and secure all equipment.
• Ensure proper grounding.
• Properly buss and torque gear.
