About The Position
ASR Construction Group is seeking a dedicated and motivated Skilled Craftsman with Water and Wastewater experience to join our self-performing team. The Skilled Craftsman will be responsible for assisting with earthwork, mechanical piping installations, concrete placements, and overall quality control.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks.
- Ability to work in all weather.
- Laborers must be punctual and reliable.
- Must be willing to learn and maintain a positive attitude.
- Must have experience in the construction industry.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the water and wastewater industry is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain construction equipment, machinery, and tools.
- Ability to safely operate construction equipment (skid steer, mini-excavator, forklift, etc.)
- Built and set concrete formwork, reinforcing, and concrete placement.
- Understand how to safely complete excavations, establish grade, and complete backfill operations.
- Install below-grade and above-grade mechanical piping.
- Complete pre-task planning.
- Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary.
