About The Position

Plant Services Carpenter performs general carpentry assignments such as, but not limited to: repair/replacement of doors and walls installation of ceilings and replacement of tiles fire caulking penetrations railing repairs flooring projects install/replacement of stair treads window repairs locksmith services installation of LKM & CDX locking devices installation of shelving repair/replacement of bathroom partitions hanging of Christmas wreaths, pictures, banners, white boards, bulleting/cork boards AED medical heart devices signs cutting of tree limbs with a chain saw demolition and renovation projects working with sketches and drawings and carpentry related preps for Christening ceremonies.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED or 2 years of related technical experience
5+ years of carpentry experience
Being a self-starter and capable of working alone with minimal supervision
Trustworthy and complying with EB core values

Strong cooperation skills and being a team player
Working in hot and cold environment conditions.
Experience in operating power shop tools to include; table saws, drill press, jointer, planner, radial alarm saw, etc.
Capable of reading and interpreting blue print drawings.
Knowledge of Carpentry and related building codes.
Willingness to work daily and weekend overtime in support of special projects.
Knowledge of flooring project installations’.
Knowledge of basic computer skills
Locksmith service knowledge.
