About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our skilled care team. You will provide high-quality patient care in collaboration with our healthcare team, ensuring the well-being and comfort of residents while adhering to established nursing standards and practices. Current Openings: .8 FTE- 12-hour day shifts, 2-3 days/ week, 6:30am-7:00pm, every 3rd weekend & holiday As an NDVH employee, you are part of the State of North Dakota team with a comprehensive benefits package, including: 100% employer-paid family health insurance HSA/FSA options Vision & dental insurance Outstanding retirement plan Vacation & sick leave starting your first day 10 paid holidays Employee Assistance Program Additional $2/hour shift differential for PMs, nights and weekends. You will be responsible for assessing and monitoring the health and well-being of our residents. Duties include: Implementing individualized care plans Providing direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with treatments Recording patient health information and maintaining accurate medical records Overseeing nursing personnel on duty during your assigned shift Collaborating with other departments to ensure residents receive the best possible care

Requirements

  • Active North Dakota RN license
  • Current CPR certification
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • A self-starter with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in long-term care preferred, but not required
