About The Position

As a member of the Club Operations Team, the Ski Valet Dispatcher is responsible for providing Club members and guests with exceptional customer service by coordinating the delivery and retrieval of ski equipment with Ski Valet Attendants.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent or 2 years experience in related environment.
  • Basic data entry and computer skills.
  • Ability to read and speak English required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the Crew Members may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the Crew Members may use are in English).
  • Must be able to work as part of a team and maintain open communication with managers and fellow coworker.
  • Must display professional demeanor and communicate in professional language at all times.

Nice To Haves

  • Working experience in a customer-facing role preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Arrives on time, dressed and groomed properly, and maintains a clean and professional appearance and uniform throughout shift.
  • Welcomes and acknowledges members and guests according to company standards. Speaks with others using clear and professional language, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
  • Maintains a warm, friendly and interactive service atmosphere. Supports all co-workers and treats them with dignity and respect. Supports the team to reach common goals.
  • Follows all company and safety and security policies and procedures; reports any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries to supervisor.
  • Works closely with Ski Valet Dispatchers in a collaborative manner.
  • Sets up skis/snowboard mobile racks based on reservations by loading and unloading equipment and moving racks to the appropriate location. Maintain stationary racks.
  • Assists members and guests with their ski/snowboard equipment by properly tracking, retrieving or storing ski/snowboard equipment in transition areas in a timely manner.
  • Provides information about available Club facilities and activities. Promotes a fun and relaxing atmosphere by expressing an upbeat and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Properly makes member reservations for ski valet.
  • Enters and locates work-related information using computer software. Reads and visually verifies information in a variety of formats.
  • Properly handles Point of Sale transactions according to established procedures.
  • Stocks retail items. Becomes knowledgeable about products and services. Assists with the inventory process as directed by manager/supervisor.
  • Reports any complaints or problems directly to the dispatch desk.
  • Maintains confidentiality of proprietary information; protects company assets.
  • Maintains cleanliness of ski lobby and ski storage area.
  • Performs facility opening and/or closing procedures.
  • Supports all co-workers and treats them with dignity and respect. Supports the team to reach common goals.
  • Is available to work required shifts (exceptions may be granted only by manager/supervisor).
  • Participates in employee trainings and staff meetings as required.
  • Assists with snow removal on patios, decks and building entrance.
  • Because of the fluctuating demands of the Club’s operation, it may be necessary that each employee perform a multitude of different functions; therefore, as an essential part of your job, you will be expected to help others when the occasion arises, just as other employees are expected to help you. Accordingly, you may be expected to perform other tasks, not specifically addressed above.
