About The Position

As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will be part of a highly trained security team that supports critical facilities and infrastructure, public venues that required an enhanced presence and personal protective services.
This position an integral part of the broad spectrum of specialized security services Inter-Con provides its clients every day.
The Contractor's Situational Awareness Supervisor shall perform supervisory functions at the Situational Awareness Communications Center (SACC). This position is a vital resource to supporting the SACC Manager and will support the Port Authority's security, life-safety, and day-to-day operations at the World Trade Center.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience in security operations, law enforcement or related field.
• Familiarity with World Trade Center campus is required by commencement of services.
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
• Ability to support First Responders as directed is required.
• Ability to manage staff.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of security and building management systems is required.
• Strong understanding of CCTV video managements systems is required.
• Strong understanding of access control systems is required.
• Must have experience generating reports and briefings.
• Individual must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have passed, at a threshold determined by the PA Manager, the National Dispatcher Selection Test (NDST).

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Experience desired related to security, law enforcement, or intelligence information gathering and interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Support the SACC Manager to implement directives and protocols.
• Respond to Manager calls, emails requests.
• Support first responders as needed and directed.
• Develop written reports and briefing documents.
• Monitor access control software.
• Monitor video management systems.
• Monitor situational awareness software.
• Provide tour and daily reports and briefing packages.
• Oversee the SACC and SOC Operators in other WTC Security command centers.
• Support Port Authority as directed.
