This is a full-time position with an expected workload of approximately 45 hours per week. WHAT DOES YOUR DAY ENTAIL? In this Sitework Estimator role, you'll spend your days reviewing plans and specifications, performing detailed quantity takeoffs, and developing accurate cost estimates that drive smart bidding decisions. You'll prepare and submit RFIs, assemble bid packages, and proactively identify scope gaps and risks before bids go out the door. Your work will include coordinating subcontractor and supplier pricing to ensure complete scope coverage, maintaining organized estimating files and systems, creating bid reports and handoff documentation, assisting with change order pricing, and supporting field teams as projects move forward-all while steadily improving your judgment, independence, and accuracy. Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Experience in construction, sitework, or field operations
- Experience in estimating or preconstruction
Nice To Haves
- Experience using estimating or takeoff software is strongly preferred
