The Site Supervisor, under the direct supervision of the early childhood assistant manager, is responsible for implementing service area plans consistent with Performance Standards, legislation, regulations, and funding requirements at the center level. This role involves direct supervision, guidance, leadership, coaching, and technical assistance for teachers and cooks, as well as indirect guidance for other center staff. The supervisor promotes staff development, coordinates schedules, ensures classroom coverage, and may substitute in the classroom as needed. Key duties include planning and overseeing curriculum implementation, coordinating the learning environment, managing case management meetings, preparing reports, maintaining records, and ensuring program confidentiality. The supervisor also coordinates parent orientation and involvement, facilitates community liaison, attends required training, and ensures compliance with licensing, health, and safety standards. Conflict resolution and emergency response, including transporting children, are also part of the role.
