About The Position

SITE SUPERINTENDENT Responsibilities and Duties Adhere to all Modular Genius, Inc. Safety Policies, OSHA, customer and/or site-specific safety requirements. Abide by all Modular Genius, Inc. policies as found in the “Modular Genius, Inc. Employee Handbook” Provide Management and Supervision of MGI Site Services personnel on-site including, but not limited to: Mentor and Train Modular Technicians  Manage Foreman and their duties and ensure adequate resources and information to perform their tasks safely, effectively, and efficiently.  Review and Approve MGI Site Services personnel’s time entry in ADP Assist Director of Construction in performance evaluations of MGI Site Services Conduct and Document Daily Safety Huddles (Toolbox Talks) at the beginning of each workday with a topic(s) relevant to the work to be performed. Ensure job sites remain safe, clean, and orderly  Plan and coordinate the construction process with the Project Manager Review, understand, and manage project scope of work, specifications, and overall project details and execute site activities accordingly Ensure all required resources, materials, equipment, and inspections occur to support the project schedule  Monitor and report project progress via Daily Reports using MGI’s Project Management software Resolve on-site issues and emergencies Coordinate Warranty/Service Calls with the Operations Coordinator Perform visual inspections of company trucks, trailers, equipment, and tools on a regular basis and communicate and coordinate maintenance with the Operations Coordinator Tow various size and weight trailers including combinations exceeding 26,001 lbs. GCWR  Obtain and Maintain the following: CDL Class A license and DOT Physical First Aid/CPR/AED Certification OSHA 30 and EM 385 Certification Formal Equipment Training for: skid-steer/track loader, all-terrain forklift, boom lift, scissor lift and other equipment if/as required.  Qualifications and Skills Safety Conscious Lead by positive example Team Player Results Driven Responsible, Reliable, and Dependable Able to lift 75 pounds by yourself Able to work at heights up to 40 feet Able to work in small areas (i.e. 18” crawl space under building) Able to work outdoors, year-round on typical construction sites Must be flexible with work schedule Must be willing to travel and stay overnight for up to a week at a time Must have basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) Must be a US Citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States Must possess a valid driver’s license and able to obtain a CDL Class A Includes ability to pass and maintain a DOT Physical Previous experience as a construction Site Superintendent or similar supervisory position Prior construction experience is a must Knowledge of quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction In-depth understanding of construction operations and processes Able to perform construction math computations and calculations Must be a US Citizen or Legally Authorized to Work in the United States Must be able to pass various criminal history background checks (i.e. FBI Criminal History, Child Abuse, etc.) High School Diploma or equivalent Job Type: Full-time Exempt  401(k) with employer match Dental insurance  Health insurance  Vision insurance  Employer paid life and disability insurance  Health Savings Account  Generous paid time off      Disclaimer: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this job title.
