The Site Security Manager – Residential Client Program is the primary owner and trusted operator for a high-net-worth client’s residential security program and affiliated properties. This role is responsible for the day-to-day security posture of the client’s primary residence, executive protection support as required, and direct coordination with Global Guardian’s operations and leadership teams. In addition to core security responsibilities, the Site Security Manager is expected to ensure that any client-related operational, safety, or security-adjacent need is identified, coordinated, and resolved, either directly or through appropriate internal or external resources. This position requires a mature, solutions-oriented professional who can operate independently, exercise sound judgment, and maintain absolute discretion. For approximately 45 days per year, the Site Security Manager will stand up, manage, and demobilize a temporary residential security team at the primary residence. Outside of this surge period, the role returns to steady-state residential operations while also serving as a mobile response leader, traveling to other client sites or properties as needed to assess, stabilize, and resolve issues with the same level of ownership as the primary residence.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in law enforcement, military, executive protection, or high-level private security.
  • Prior experience in residential or executive protection environments.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid Florida driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass background investigation and fingerprinting.
  • Clean criminal record; legally eligible to possess and carry a firearm.
  • Must maintain an active D and G license.
  • CPR/AED and First Aid certification.
  • Strong working knowledge of emergency response and incident management.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ownership mentality with the ability to operate independently and without constant supervision.
  • Strong judgment and decision-making under pressure.
  • Exceptional discretion and emotional intelligence.

Nice To Haves

  • Executive Protection or Close Protection certification (e.g., ESI, EPI, or similar).
  • Tactical or emergency driving certification (EVOC, SDC, etc.).
  • Experience managing or leading small security teams.
  • Familiarity with secure communications systems.
  • Concealed carry permit with multi-state reciprocity.
  • Strong knowledge of local roadways and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary security authority for the client’s residence, property, and immediate environment.
  • Maintain continuous situational awareness and respond decisively to security incidents, emergencies, or irregularities.
  • Provide protective services, secure driving, and executive support as required.
  • Maintain a professional, discreet, and low-profile presence at all times.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with the client, household staff, and trusted vendors.
  • Plan, stand up, manage, and demobilize a temporary residential security team during designated high-risk or high-activity periods.
  • Recruit, vet, onboard, and supervise temporary security personnel in coordination with Global Guardian leadership.
  • Develop and implement property-specific SOPs, post orders, schedules, and communication protocols.
  • Ensure all personnel meet licensing, training, and compliance requirements.
  • Serve as the on-site leader and escalation point throughout the surge period.
  • Conduct post-operation reviews and ensure full demobilization at the conclusion of the assignment.
  • Act as the single point of ownership for all security-related and security-adjacent client needs, ensuring issues are addressed and resolved promptly, professionally, and discreetly.
  • Proactively identify risks, gaps, or operational issues affecting the client’s safety, privacy, or continuity of daily life.
  • Take responsibility for seeing issues through to resolution, whether handled directly or coordinated through internal teams, vendors, or third parties.
  • Execute client requests with urgency, sound judgment, and minimal disruption, while maintaining appropriate professional and security boundaries.
  • Maintain a service-oriented mindset that reflects trust, accountability, and discretion.
  • Travel to additional client residences or affiliated properties as required to assess, respond to, and resolve security or operational issues.
  • Apply the same standards of ownership, professionalism, and discretion at secondary sites as at the primary residence.
  • Conduct site assessments, recommend corrective actions, and implement temporary or permanent security measures as appropriate.
  • Serve as the on-site authority during issue resolution, coordinating with Global Guardian leadership and GSOC as needed.
  • Document findings, actions taken, and follow-up requirements after each site engagement.
  • Coordinate with Global Guardian’s GSOC and administrative teams for monitoring, reporting, and escalation.
  • Create, maintain, and update property-specific SOPs, emergency response plans, and documentation.
  • Ensure strict adherence to confidentiality, privacy, and client-specific protocols.
  • Document incidents, irregularities, and corrective actions clearly and professionally.
  • Support domestic and international travel as required.
