About The Position

Are you an analytic thinker? Do you want to play a key role in transforming our firm into an agileanization?
We're looking for an Infrastructure Engineer with Azure Database Administrator expertise for our cloud database platforms.
Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of database services including MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB, and Azure Cache for Redis reliability in cloud infrastructure. This includes production support, problem management, BCDR, and value-add services such as architectural, strategic, project, and application design consultancy to a diverse client base.
Site Reliability Engineering practices to support, automation, and operations.
Ensure the quality, security, reliability, andpliance by ing our digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements.
Learn new technologies and practices, reuse strategic platforms and standards, evaluate options, and make decisions with long-term sustainability in mind.
Work in Agile model and SRE Principles to deliver reliable and efficient platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor or master's degree or equivalent focusing on Engineering, SRE for Databases MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB, Azure Cache for Redis
• Ideally 5+ years of experience in large enterprise, preferably global financial / technologyanization
• Expertise in MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB, Azure Cache for Redis
• Performance and tuning skills including server configuration and tracing facilities
• Cloud experience specifically on Azure with hands-on in infrastructure maintenance using Terraform or Ansible
• Strong knowledge of Python and scripting for automation
• Proficiency on underlying infrastructure and operating systems like Windows, Unix RHEL 7/8
• SRE mindset to look at infrastructure issues with a software engineering perspective
• Managing incident management calls, problem management and blameless RCA
• Strongmunicator, from making presentations to technical writing
• Good at problem statement analysis and solution design thinking
• Experience and exposure on database/infrastructure monitoring, observability, resiliency, backup, and disaster recovery
• Confidentmunicator that can explain technology to technical and non-technical audiences
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using Azure DevOps
