About The Position

Supports the DOE OST Human Reliability Program (HRP) by executing mission-critical duties aligned with occupational health, psychological evaluation, emergency response, and administrative operations to ensure personnel reliability, safety, and compliance with federal regulations. Location: Albuquerque, NM Security Clearance: Department of Energy L/Q Clearance About the Role: This job is CONTINGENT upon contract award, client approval, completion of a favorable background investigation, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust / High Risk clearance. Final compensation will be based on relevant factors including work experience, skills, certifications, and internal equity. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of medicine or osteopathy (MD or DO)
  • Valid, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the applicable state
  • Demonstrated expertise in occupational medicine or related medical field
  • Ability to perform medical evaluations, interpret clinical data, and make HRP determinations
  • Eligibility for DOE access authorization (L/Q clearance level)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting DOE, NNSA, or other federal programs
  • Familiarity with Human Reliability Program (HRP) requirements
  • Experience in safety-sensitive or high-reliability environments
  • Advanced certifications or specialized training relevant to the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform initial, annual, and special HRP evaluations or services appropriate to the role
  • Document findings and prepare reports in accordance with DOE requirements
  • Coordinate with SOMD, Program Manager, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ensure compliance with 10 CFR 712, OSHA standards, and Privacy Act requirements
  • Maintain readiness of equipment, records, and systems
  • Participate in training, drills, and emergency response activities
  • Identify and report conditions impacting safety, reliability, or mission readiness
  • Support quality assurance and continuous improvement activities
