About The Position

Sitemetric seeks a bold, humble, and bar-raising Site Logistics Lead, Safety Coordinator who will lead the construction industry’s transition to a safer, more secure, more successful building experience for everyone involved. This dual-function role is the primary point of accountability for all site operations, security protocols, and safety workflows. As the Site Logistics Lead, Safety Coordinator, you will lead and facilitate all onsite and customer workflows to continually deliver exceptional customer value and experience. That will mean ensuring constant alignment with explicit and implicit expectations across all stakeholders, including owners, contractors, and workers, to meet exceptionally high standards for construction safety, security, quality, and success. Your responsibilities include leading and cultivating relationships with stakeholders and delivering the highest-quality service across construction environments that are continually changing, dynamic, and uncertain. This role ensures full compliance with the project's security specifications, the approved Construction Management Plan (CMP), and any client-specific security protocols. By maintaining an obsessive commitment to understanding customer values and evolving needs, you will manage zone-based access controls and proactively interface with client security personnel. This is a critical, hands-on role requiring proven security management experience specifically in high-security environments like data centers or critical infrastructure to enable customers to maximize success across their broader project portfolio. Overall, the role demands grit, perseverance, and an abundance mindset to navigate and excel in the perpetually challenging environments where our customers operate.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of security management experience in high-security environments (e.g., data centers) with a proven ability to lead project teams and maintain strong relationships with owners, contractors, and client security personnel.
  • Strong understanding of site security practices, access control systems, and zone-based protocols, with the ability to interpret and contribute to technical drawings and security specifications.
  • Familiarity with developing and implementing Construction Management Plans (CMP) or similar site logistics documentation to ensure full compliance with project specifications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to communicate complex business issues and propose resolutions in a clear, concise manner.
  • Adaptable, flexible, and able to solve complex challenges within and outside of operations, using domain knowledge and communication/interpersonal skills, with an adaptable and flexible style in working with all types of individuals.

Nice To Haves

  • Clearly demonstrable past experience as a high-performing leader in commercial construction at an ENR Top 400 General Contractor.
  • Experience developing, drafting and managing comprehensive site security plans for complex private sector or government projects.
  • Experience leading and advocating for the use of technology to improve the safety, security, and success of each construction project.
  • Experience leading internal efforts to discover, prototype, deploy, or invest in field technology at an ENR Top 400 General Contractor.

Responsibilities

  • Service Delivery: Oversee how all Sitemetric services are deployed and executed at the project and enterprise levels, to ensure that we always deliver the highest levels of customer value and experience and constantly improve on these. Serve as the designated on-site Security Coordinator, maintaining a full-time presence to ensure strict adherence to all security requirements, the approved Construction Management Plan (CMP), and any client-specific security protocols. You will dynamically interact with all customer types, from executive teams to individual workers, to expertly communicate priorities related to project safety, security, quality, and overall success.
  • Customer Success: Work closely with customers to proactively anticipate and resolve any challenges they may face in utilizing Sitemetric services while maintaining the highest safety and security standards onsite. This includes managing zone-based access controls, delineating security zones on project drawings, and monitoring daily site activities to verify compliance with access protocols. You will conduct regular site inspections and audits, coordinate security-related training and orientations for site workers and maintain accurate records of access logs and incident reports.
  • Collaborative Innovation. Work closely with customers and Sitemetric colleagues to understand customers’ existing, emerging, and evolving problems and how to expand/build Sitemetric services to solve these in a scalable way to increase customer value and experience.
