The Site Foreman role is based in the Bryan, TX Area and reports directly to the Area Operations Manager. This role is part of the South Texas Stabilized Sand business unit. Requirements

  • At least 3 years of sand and gravel experience, or at least 5 years of experience in construction materials or a closely related industry
  • Proven strong customer service and communication skills
  • Motivation and ability to embrace all the aspects of the job such as accountability for the people, assets, and performance of the site; work fluctuating hours; and personally, doing manual labor such as repairing equipment, shoveling, and lifting

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Ensure effective, efficient and financially responsible site operations
  • Lead safety & health for your site and ensure regulatory and company policy compliance
  • With Area Manager, safely direct the daily work of site employees
  • Schedule customer orders and address the needs of the customer
  • Coach and train site personnel on safety, customer service and plant operations
  • Maintain accurate cement/materials and fuel inventories
  • Dispatch independent haul trucks to maximize routes
  • Troubleshoot and address any PUG mill plant issues that may arise
  • Maintain daily/monthly reporting requirements
