About The Position

Performance Contracting is seeking a Foreman for its PCI Austin 549 operations based in Austin, TX. This individual will be responsible for : Overall responsibility for crew safety, performance, productivity and work quality for assigned projects Collaborate with superintendent and project manager to coordinate project startup, execution and close out Use look‐ahead schedules, manpower forecasts and project specifications to provide optimum scheduling of material, manpower and crew mix Systematically direct and assign crew field activities to achieve maximize productivity while maintaining PCG standards of quality, performance and workplace safety Create and maintain positive relationships with all trades, vendors, co‐workers and customers to maximize effectiveness and efficiency Convey a professional and positive attitude as the onsite representative of branch and corporation Use available technology to perform job tasks efficiently Ability to perform all job duties and associated work functions in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner Performs other related duties as assigned On-the-job training offered This position is safety-sensitive.

Requirements

  • Must have at least 5 years of experience in a Foreman/Supervisor role
  • Must have a track record of successfully performing supervisory responsibilities
  • Must have strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Proficient in reading cold formed metal framing shop drawings
  • Managed a crew size of 20+ craftsmen.
  • Understanding of wall framing limiting heights and UL assemblies
  • Proficient in quality control
  • Able to withstand prolonged periods standing and working outside
  • Physically able to perform assigned tasks
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds at a time
