About The Position

The Manager, Site Engagement Lead (SEL) plays a pivotal role in fostering productive and lasting partnerships with clinical trial sites participating in Kymera studies. This position serves as the primary field-facing liaison between Kymera, its CRO partners, and site staff across North America, ensuring that sites are well supported, engaged, and positioned for recruitment success. The SEL Manager is responsible for executing site engagement strategies, proactively addressing recruitment and retention challenges, and relaying critical site insights to cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated and collaborative clinical operations professional who thrives on building relationships, solving problems, and contributing to Kymera’s reputation as a sponsor of choice.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Public Health, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5–7 years of experience in clinical research, site management, or clinical operations, with 2+ years focused on site engagement or patient recruitment.
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial conduct, GCP, and site operations.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously while maintaining close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel regionally (up to 50%).

  • Experience in immunology, inflammation, or respiratory therapeutic areas preferred (e.g., severe asthma).

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the “face of Kymera” for assigned clinical trial sites, establishing and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships with investigators, coordinators, and site staff.
  • Conduct regular site visits (virtual and in-person) to assess engagement, identify challenges, and recognize achievements.
  • Collaborate with sites to develop and implement tailored action plans that accelerate enrollment and support patient retention.
  • Facilitate two-way communication between sites and internal stakeholders, ensuring timely sharing of information, materials, and updates.
  • Partner closely with Clinical Operations, CRO teams, and internal study leads to align on site engagement goals and recruitment milestones.
  • Identify and escalate operational or logistical barriers impacting site performance, and work with cross-functional partners to drive resolution.
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of Investigator Meetings, Site Initiation Visits (SIVs), and study milestone touchpoints.
  • Support the adoption of standardized tools, best practices, and communications frameworks across Kymera’s SEL network.
  • Capture and communicate site-level insights to inform trial planning, operational strategy, and risk mitigation.
  • Track and report on recruitment metrics, engagement activity, and performance trends across assigned sites.
  • Participate in internal debriefs and knowledge-sharing forums to highlight best practices and lessons learned.
  • Act as a role model for collaboration, accountability, and proactive communication within the SEL team.
  • Support peer development by sharing successful engagement approaches and field insights.
  • Partner with SEL colleagues on regional initiatives to harmonize site support and enhance engagement quality.
