About The Position

Site Director - Full/Part Time M-F (6:30 am-8:30 am and/or 2:00 pm-6:00 pm) Location: Various Elementary Schools; Fort Collins, CO. Ready to lead with purpose? AlphaBEST Education provides extended-day, summer, and enrichment programs designed to inspire and engage students as they discover and learn beyond the school day in a fun, safe environment. As an AlphaBEST Site Director, you'll lead a meaningful before and after-school program that helps kids learn, grow, and thrive. We're looking for an early learning professional who: Enjoys working with children in a structured, high-energy environment Feels confident taking the lead and running a smooth program Takes pride in delivering a high-quality student and family experience Takes child safety seriously and follows procedures closely Is flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever needed

Requirements

  • Must meet one of the following qualifications per CO licensing regulations: completed a bachelor's degree (in a related field, such as recreation, outdoor education, elementary or early childhood education, or a subject in the human service field) 2 years of college education and 6 months (910 hours) of satisfactory and verifiable experience 3 years of satisfactory and verifiable experience, along with 6+ semester hours or college education, OR 40 clock hours of training in coursework applicable to school-age children.
  • Satisfactory and verifiable experience must have occurred after you were 18 years or older and must be for the care/supervision of children 4 years or older.
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
  • Must be able to successfully complete a background check as required by CO childcare licensing regulations

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the site: schedules, ratios, staffing, and documentation
  • Oversee/facilitate curriculum implementation and ensure activities meet program expectations
  • Build a safe and inclusive environment aligned with licensing requirements and AlphaBEST standards
  • Make child safety the top priority at all times
  • Maintain licensing compliance, documentation, and readiness for inspections
  • Track and manage site resources, attendance, and food program requirements
  • Supervise and mentor your site team, providing coaching and feedback, and ensuring training requirements are met
  • Represent AlphaBEST with professionalism at school and community events
  • Build strong relationships with families, school staff, and AlphaBEST leadership to support student success
