Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required/MBA Preferred
  • 10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience in sales/marketing functions with some, or all, including professional education (HCP/KOL) and speaker bureau program management.
  • Advanced communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Must be innovative, proactive, and strong analytically with excellent overall business acumen
  • Ability to travel as needed to support key activities approximately 40%

Nice To Haves

  • Insomnia and/or hypertension knowledge and background
  • Previous pharma sales or sales management experience

Responsibilities

  • Leads all professional education/Speaker Bureau activities including: Content development  Speaker engagement platforms  Agency engagement and coordination of all activities  Speaker training  Compliance and legal checks  Budget management
  • Leads ongoing efforts and coordination of all The Sleep Alliance priorities and committees.
  • Coordinates congresses & conventions including identifying and executing regional sponsorships. This includes booth planning, product theaters and society leadership engagement.
  • Serves as Thought Leader for KOL management, identification, and development – including: Providing oversight and leadership for required ad board efforts  Leading KOL database management  Brand lead for Congress planning and extensive KOL engagements  Contract execution and leading all associated legal/compliance processes in collaboration with compliance
  • Strategic steering committee and advisory boards - develops objectives and partners with agencies on discussion guides that meet strategic and scientific needs.
  • Serves as MSL liaison and engagement for brands.
  • Works productively toward objectives within scope of role with external agencies, key internal stakeholders, and cross functional groups within the organization.
  • Effectively manages budgets, performs administrative tasks, tactical deployment, and external agencies to ensure optimal execution.
  • Continually assesses competitive landscape and responds accordingly.
  • Works within regulatory and compliance guidelines to achieve goals.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
