Site Coodinator - Math and Science Learning Center

Launch Math & Science CentersNew York, NY
Onsite

About The Position

At Launch, we provide toddlers to tweens with math instruction and STEM-based camps and classes. As the Site Coordinator, you are more than an administrator—you are the execution lead responsible for the 360-degree success of our programming. This is a high-impact role for a smart, ambitious "go-getter" who wants to see how a successful education company runs from the inside out. You aren't just managing a facility; you are collaborating with our Curriculum and Operations teams to ensure every lesson, kit, and student interaction meets the highest standard. This is an opportunity to learn the business, ensure day-to-day excellence, and help shape Launch's future growth.

Requirements

  • Strong foundational knowledge through Algebra II and Geometry and ability to explain these concepts clearly to students and staff.
  • Belief that math and science should be fun and accessible to every child.
  • Proactive attitude: not waiting for a to-do list, noticing a mess and cleaning it, seeing a broken tool and fixing it, understanding that excellence requires getting your hands dirty.
  • Career-ambitious: wanting to learn how a business scales and looking for a role that offers a 360-degree view of operations.
  • Committed: reliable and punctual, understanding that the center’s success depends on your presence to open the doors.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills (verbal and written).
  • Consistent on-site presence, including Saturdays.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree

Responsibilities

  • Own the daily execution of our math and STEM programs, managing the end-to-end student journey from onboarding and assessments to ensuring every assignment and science kit is staged and ready for "blast off."
  • Partner with the Assistant Director to ensure the center is fully staffed at all times, assisting with staffing plans, coordinating instructor schedules, and helping identify talent needs.
  • Act as the vital link between our central Curriculum and Operations teams and the classroom, ensuring new initiatives are delivered flawlessly and providing the feedback loop that helps shape Launch’s future growth.
  • Act as the "eyes and ears" on the floor, helping train new instructors and stepping in to teach when needed, modeling the high energy and mathematical clarity that define our culture.
  • Be the face of Launch, owning the lobby, greeting every family, navigating the "rush hour" flow, and handling parent communications with professionalism and empathy.
  • Treat the center like your own, ensuring it is always "tour-ready," managing everything from classroom aesthetics and furniture layout to the essential details of site maintenance and cleanliness.
  • Maintain a "Safety First" culture by strictly overseeing student check-in/out protocols and emergency procedures.
  • Organize, reset, and maintain our science kits and manipulatives, ensuring they are ready for every student.
  • Track facility supplies and manage instructional tech (tablets/laptops).
