Launch Math + Science CentersNew York, NY
$40,000 - $45,000Onsite

About The Position

At Launch, we provide toddlers to tweens with math instruction and STEM-based camps and classes. As the Site Coordinator, you are more than an administrator—you are the execution lead responsible for the 360-degree success of our programming. This is a high-impact role for a smart, ambitious "go-getter" who wants to see how a successful education company runs from the inside out. You aren't just managing a facility; you are collaborating with our Curriculum and Operations teams to ensure every lesson, kit, and student interaction meets the highest standard. This is an opportunity to learn the business, ensure day-to-day excellence, and help shape Launch's future growth.

Requirements

  • Math Proficient: You have a strong foundational knowledge through Algebra II and Geometry and can explain these concepts clearly to students and staff.
  • Mission-Driven: You believe that math and science should be fun and accessible to every child.
  • Proactive: You don’t wait for a to-do list. You notice a mess and clean it; you see a broken tool and fix it. You understand that excellence requires getting your hands dirty.
  • Career-Ambitious: You want to learn how a business scales and are looking for a role that offers a 360-degree view of operations.
  • Committed: You are reliable and punctual. You understand that the center’s success depends on you being there to open the doors.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills (verbal and written).
  • Physical Activity: This is an active role; you’ll be on your feet and moving materials throughout the day.
  • Schedule: Consistent on-site presence, including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

  • Math and STEM Program Lead: Own the daily execution of our math and STEM programs. You’ll manage the end-to-end student journey—from onboarding and assessments to ensuring every assignment and science kit is staged and ready for "blast off."
  • Staffing & Personnel Support: Partner with the Assistant Director to ensure the center is fully staffed at all times. You’ll assist with staffing plans, coordinate instructor schedules, and help identify talent needs to keep the center running smoothly.
  • Bridge to Innovation: Act as the vital link between our central Curriculum/Ops teams and the classroom. You ensure that new initiatives are delivered flawlessly and provide the feedback loop that helps shape Launch’s future growth.
  • Quality Control & Mentorship: Act as the "eyes and ears" on the floor. You’ll help train new instructors and step in to teach when needed, modeling the high energy and mathematical clarity that define our culture.
  • Brand Ambassador: You are the face of Launch. You own the lobby—greeting every family, navigating the "rush hour" flow, and handling parent communications with professionalism and empathy.
  • Facility Pride: You treat the center like your own. You ensure it is always "tour-ready," managing everything from classroom aesthetics and furniture layout to the essential details of site maintenance and cleanliness.
  • Safety & Security: Maintain a "Safety First" culture by strictly overseeing student check-in/out protocols and emergency procedures.
  • Inventory Oversight: You’ll organize, reset, and maintain our science kits and manipulatives, ensuring they are ready for every student.
  • Operations Support: Tracking facility supplies and managing instructional tech (tablets/laptops).
