What this job involves The Commissioning Project Manager will serve as the critical bridge between development, construction, and operations teams to ensure seamless commissioning and turnover of new sites, expansions, and major infrastructure upgrades. This role focuses on standardizing processes, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring all operational deliverables are properly executed before sites go live. You'll work closely with general contractors, site teams, and various application groups to maintain sustainable commissioning procedures and comprehensive tracking systems. Your day-to-day tasks will include: Interface with site teams and leadership to capture and standardize turnover requirements for greenfield sites, expansions, and major infrastructure upgrades Collaborate with development teams to ensure standardized turnover requirements are included in project scope and contracts Establish and maintain project tracking systems and provide regular progress reports on key site turnover requirements to operational leadership Support site teams in completing turnover requirements including asset onboarding, technician training, as-built documentation review, and inspection certifications Coordinate with procurement teams to maintain accurate equipment inventory and manage transfers to active construction projects Work with general contractors, site operations, and client administrators to ensure all assets are properly uploaded to building management systems before turnover Maintain alignment between development and operations teams on reporting metrics for square footage and power capacity across all project phases Physical Demands and Work Environment: Ability to travel to various construction sites and operational facilities as required Capability to work in active construction environments with appropriate safety awareness Desk-based work involving computer systems and documentation management Occasional fieldwork requiring standard personal protective equipment Flexible schedule to coordinate with multiple project timelines and stakeholder availability
